Article 39.1 and Epic Overtakingz by Massa Rite THAR! OMG!
no fans of any of the top three can complain about teams orders. They've all done it this year.
theres a big fat line between making life easy for an overtake and slowing down though. BIG one.

not that i think theyre wrong. but technically its against the rules and we've seen lewis get penalties for things that were a hell of a lot more borderline than that. i therefore expect a full FIA Investigation.

LOL

they won't investigate this... even if kimi slow down before to let Massa pass.

Hard to catch constructor title for McLaren...

Why won't Massa even admit what really happened between him and Kimi. :tired:

If your team mate is fighting for the championship and you’re out of the fight then it is perfectly acceptable for you to let him past you and to do your best to hold up his championship rivals, as long as you don’t purposely run them off the track. :roll:: yeah not the best scenario happened today

kimi about to laugh when massa was trying to explain his burst of speed in the last stint :) Massa : "i was particulary strong in that last stint so i caught up to kimi and managed to get past him"

Just FYI, if somebody's complaining about Ferrari's strategy, McLaren's been doing the same with Kovalainen in a couple of races and in fuel strategies the whole year so... :roll:: At least Ferrari gave both of their drivers the chance to fight for the championship in the first half of the season.

I totally agree with you. Kimi's just said "It's a team game" and tried to answer neatly to Windsor's question about team orders. Massa also did it last year in favor of Kimi and at that time Kimi had thanked him but here today Massa didn't seem to know what to say I think. He said "he catched and passed Kimi, which was the only good thing in the race." Come one Massa :wave:

Ron Dennis ;

"It was a disciplined race. We were very pleased with the performance of the team this weekend. Unfortunate, with losing a tyre on Heikki's car. It was a cut on the inside sidewall. Fortunate, we saw the deflation so we were able to bring him back slowly but it took him out of the points. We had very high (pneumatic valve) air consumption on the engine and I was very worried that the engine would fail in front of Lewis, so we thought it prudent to take him out because of that and not risk an engine failure.

"The car is very quick, there is no real opportunity to improve anybody's car between now and Brazil, the cars go straight there, so we just have to hope that we can do the job. It's very challenging for Ferraris to beat Lewis because we can afford to come third. To finish in anywhere in this race you have to finish, so the target is to finish and be disciplined."

Rob Smedley: "not too bad, we were outclassed by McLaren but especially Lewi, hats off to the kid. He won by about 16s. Is McLaren the fastest car, or is it just Lewis. Poor Heikki has been beaten by him. but its not over till its over"

But Kovalainen was already far from Lewis after a few races...

And about Massa's overtaking, I don't see a problem. I'm sure the rule is about avoiding dirty movements or actions more than try to win the championship in a fair way.
