Kimi is 21 points behind Lewis.
His chances gone :P
His chances gone :P
Racing... Because football, basketball, volleyball... Requires ONE ball!!!
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
Kimi's result was important for Ferrari's WCC hopes and that's why they probably told him to cool off after his tyres weren't working perfectly anymore.
Funny how all McLaren's reliability problems are with Heikki's car. Unfortunately for McLaren this will also impede their WCC hopes as Kovalainen was in a very strong position today.
Alonso's pace was just phenomenal in the middle stages of the race. He really deserved this win. And it was on a dry track without safety cars. It probably would have been Kimi's race, but since Hamilton forgot about his careful driving it all went chaotic. Anyway, I'm tired of this Massa vs Hamilton controversy. Kubica for the championship!

Lewis had damage from the Massa incident so couldn't push.

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
He should have damaged some parts of his ca during his initial off track excursion at turn 1. He never really set pace better than 1.19.750 or so .. Massa had a perfect car and more critically the last stint he was running with fuel for 14 laps and brand new hard tyres .. I think that's what kept him in hunt.hannibal_rising wrote:You Know?... Fernando ''we're now behind Ferrari , Mclaren''
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
Guess which team will be Alonso's choice now. :tired: Especially when Renault has surpassed BMW, in terms of constructors championship too late though.

That's a little too premature to claim that ! BMW are still there ..iceman1 wrote:Fernando ''we're now behind Ferrari , Mclaren''
I don't think Alonso has a chance at BMW, they have confirmed their driver lineup for 2009.

Nice Race but a poor again from championship leader
Desire has no limits
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
And Honda think they can lure Alonso away.... what a joke! That win and a no score for Heidfeld and Kovy means 5th in he championship is very open. Kimi looks to stay P4 but could be caught still.
Re: 2008 FORMULA 1™ Fuji Television Japanese Grand Prix
dont forget he had to do a very long second stint on softs!!!!!(maybe he didnt have enough hard tyres)sanredrose wrote:He should have damaged some parts of his ca during his initial off track excursion at turn 1.
