so Raikkonen is fuelled several laps shorter than Massa. Given the considerable improvement in time Raikkonen found in Q3 compared to Q2.

some people are wondering why McLaren’s new-found conservatism hasn’t led them into changing Hamilton’s engine for this race, allowing the luxury of a fresh engine in time for the final round at Interlagos. Hamilton will be using the same engine here he had at Singapore

Lewis and Kimi will pit around the same lap, Massa 2-4 laps longer. Alonso will be 1-2 laps before Kimi, Heikki 1 lap before Massa. If you didn't get that...

This is a complete guess so don't blame me if their wrong (or right!).

Kimi can only help Massa if Kimi is first and Massa is second, I don't see that happening unless there is a Lewis DNF. I hope Kimi can win the last 3 races...but then Massa will only win the championship if Lewis DNFs at least once. GO KIMI!

In fact, while I was posting this I had thought that I should write driver's statement about their quali lap as both Kimi and Felipe said they made mistakes. Therefore, these differences may not say it all about the strategy.

Singapore was not a engine-demanding race. I think they did the right thing given their supreme reliability record. Last race, Ferrari would be very very strong so Ron wants to be there as fresh as a cucumber.

the race wont finish as as though. In almost all the races, one of ferrari or mac have dnf or finished outside points and I believe it will be the same here.

i think if it rained massa might have a bigger possibility to win, BUT if it didn't, kimi most definitely will win the race (even if he was blindfolded .....lol) ...but if something wrong happens in the pit lanes for ferrari then the race is over for them and they will kiss goodbye for the world championship :'''(

This race might turn out to be a boring one with cars following one another. I can see only a few hairpins to be the opportunities for overtaking but having said that Ferrari & Mclaren are equally matched so on a equal load of fuel they will match one another.

Massa should probably take a leaf out of the book of Alonso ! See what he did in Singapore. Inspite of starting 15th, he started on a low fuel load, so that he can pass as many people as possible. Massa should do the same. If he doesn't pass Alonso / Heikki before the first set of pit stops then his race would be long gone !! I don't see Massa screwing up the race until rain is going to flood the track like 07.
