Re: 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
Unfortunately, I am unable to watch the Grand Prix Live , because I have to play soccer in he morning, and I won't be back to see the start live. That means that I will watch the GP as soon as I'm back home, from our DVD-recorder (hopefully it'll work ) Enjoy to everybody who is going to watch the GP I really can't wait until I'm back home from football to watch it. Because I really like the circuit and I really love the racing in the night . But unfortunately Massa will take the lead in the Championship after this race, thanks to the Belgian stewards, so round of applaus for them!

I don't think it'll be much of a GP unless someone crashes and brings out a SC at a critical part of the race like in Hockenheim. It'll be a magnificent spectacle but I fear in a few years time after a few more floodlit races are introduced the novelty will wear off.

Heidfeld penalised three grid positions
BMW Sauber driver Nick Heidfeld has been penalised three grid positions for tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix after stewards ruled that the German driver had impeded Honda's Rubens Barrichello during the first part of qualifying.
Heidfeld had qualified in sixth, two places behind team mate Kubica. The penalty means he will now start behind Vettel, Glock and Rosberg who move up to sixth, seventh and eighth.
The incident in question happened very early in the first session when Barrichello was forced to abort his flying lap having caught Heidfeld in the final corner. The BMW driver had slowed as he was pulling into the pit lane.
In another twist, Barrichello has been fined 10,000 Euro because he just cut into the pits after that incident, knowing his lap was ruined. However, stewards were not happy that he cut over the pit lane entry line.

Fisi:"The mechanics did a fantastic, fantastic job to get the car repaired and out for qualifying in the last five minutes. Unfortunately then I had a puncture and then another crash as the steering wasn't right because of the puncture."
Also today the news has broken that Paul Newman, 83, has died.
He was an actor, director/producer and finished 2nd at Le Mans in 1979. He also partly owned an IndyCar team. He is surevived by his wife, his older brother, five children and two grandsons

That penalty for Heidfeld is absolute bullsh!t.Your telling me a driver can't slow down for the pits without being penalised? Absolutely ridiculous.Anyone who watches F1 knows that penalty is absurd. Its not his fault the pit entry is on the racing line.
Re: 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
thats righ the fault its the pit entry...
by the way massa already sad he made a perfect lap not lighter than everyone 2 stops strategy for sure

Ferrari Rules!!!!!!
Re: 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
well i think he is lighter than lewis for sure but not by a lot, maybe 2 or 3 laps.
Re: 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
Time Difference between q3 and q2.
The lesser the gap, the lighter you are.
Well the hamilton's bar can be considered as an anomaly.Because his time in q2 was not that quick because of the pressure and other things.

Re: 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix
nvm i just realised what i said was total and utter bs. The penalty was unfair because heidfeld was effectively in the pits.

The only spectaculair thing this race will be the start (maybe), and crashes. I really think we will see less overtaking than in Valencia. Where we had 2 or 3 overtakings (1 lovely from Nakajima on Rubens). But I really think we will see lots of crashes, which means we'll also see lots of SC. The walls are just so damn close to the track! But I really really like the track, it's a real drivers track, I think .phil1993 wrote:I don't think it'll be much of a GP unless someone crashes and brings out a SC at a critical part of the race like in Hockenheim. Lewis isn't the lightest, on q2 he was blocked by Coulthard

Norbert Haug on today and tomorrow: "Today we didn’t get it 100 per cent right, but tomorrow we want to do a better job, and I think our strategy will help us to do so."
For now I say to everybody: sleep well!

Do we know what Kimi's problem is yet when Kimi is virtually asleep start-mid race then in the last quarter or so he comes alive?
