It was Alonso driving one of his best races, he didn't put a foot wrong, he didn't miss a braking point, he had the perfect line, was in perfect balance all the race and I could have watched him for hours. But then again I'm perhaps easily amused. :pout: :)
Oh yeah, I watch the FP sessions. That's dedication, and proves that simply the cars going round amuse me. :)
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

It was a quite nice session because of Massa' win - it had happened to him after the Hungarian GP. But if we talk about a new street circuit - it could be better, much better. I've been watching it with a feeling of 'when are they going to start the race'?..

Yep, pretty much my thoughts. They all seemed to hold back in the race. And Martin Brundle said beforehand "This is going to be chaotic", and I beleived him!!

And it so wasn't, especially so given that I had been so looking forward to the race.

best driver - massa
best team - ? torro rosso?
best over taking - nakajima
best moment - absolutly nothing mechanic incedent and kimi engine was the only entertainment in the whole race.
worst driver - DC he seems to be in accidents to frequently for me
rookie - glock
surprising moment - ferrari engine dieing again. poor advertisment for ferrari hope they can iron out these engne failures for the spa race.

comments - what a s*** race, at least monaco has pretty scenery but this was dire, i feel the spanish have wasted a lot of money on what could be a potentially a bad investment (if this is what its going to be like every year), i spend a lot of time in spain but i have no interest in visiting this circuit what a lot of hype and a big let down.
bring on the rain in spa.
