Uhh, this is why I don't like it when Bernie wants to fill the calendar with street races. We get races like this and Monaco where they just drive behind each other for the whole race. It's just show, but not racing. Congrats to Massa nevertheless for his dominant victory. He's definitely the fastest man out there at the moment.

Even though the race was quite uneventful, this topic has gathered quite a lot of discussion as this is the largest race topic this season. :)

its a street race. you cannot expect a lot of overtaking in f1. and its nothings fault. no driver in f1 has enough reason to risk it. GP2 and FBMW is another story. which is why there is a lot more action.

Annooooooooooooooooooooying race....
I just hope a better race next year with all the changes...

Two mistakes in Ferrari's pit stops? The second one was Kimi's mistake, but the first one was someone's else mistake. Can the guy of the traffic light see if there is another car coming?... or is it just because it is a small team coming that they think they have to stop and let Ferrari go out? It won't be fair if Felipe is penalized next race for someone's else mistake... but that's the idea of "team", isn't it?

Anyway.. good for Felipe. And for McLaren... if Ferrari's pilots fight between them, is perfect for Lewis' Championship...

The rest of the race... uffff.... The brightest moment was Sutil hitting the tires... and Kimi's engine failure... like 30 seconds during the whole race...

And it's a shame Alonso had that problem. Spaniards needed something to enjoy after that disaster in Madrid..

The race was dull. The track wasn't at fault, blame the aerodynamics for preventing overtaking. The next race at Spa should be better, its the best track in F1.

Boring. Dull.

swca is right. It's the stupid aero. There is no point even trying to overtake, so they just keep in line. Except Nakajima, who put in the only proper overtake.

Now let's just wait for the stewards to give Hamilton the win, before I start really complaining..

Stupid DC, stupid attempt at an overtake on Sutil.
Stupid Piquet, took DC out, looked like an accident waiting to happen..
..but that was Sutil's job. Into the wall. Luckily for him, DC spared him the honour of being first into it in practice.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

ITV are testing my patience.I'm fed up of them missing the big events (they missed Kmi's engine faliure and I only knew because I switch the radio on in the ad breaks where they have full coverage) and of their Hamilton bias. The commentators immediately said Massa should be penalised and they won't shut up about it now.

Yea, Spa is the best track and hopefully we'll see something exciting, apart from engine failures, after Hungaboring and this one. :p
