Mclaren seems to be quicker in Sector 3. Both Lewis & Heikki are setting 22.9 while others at 23.2 or more. ...

It's a little stupid talk about lap times today, it's only FP1, time to test the more basics settings of the car. And time to destroy Alonso's engine too. FP2 will be the same

Not for the sake of lap times but Lewis has had lots of oversteer today. It affected his lap times.

Hamilton is having a lot of problems to control his car... it's not running smoothly...

FP1 FP2 and FP3, pilots are searching this limits, so they will have a lot of "errors"

McLaren has a better mechanical grip so they don't compromise aero effects. They were also the quickest car over straight line last year here in Hungaroring.

Interesting that Glock has the 'fin' on the Toyota but Trulli doesn't.

Well, it's nice to see Ferrari in front again, but I don't think we should read too much into it. McLaren is right there with them as I remember seeing some good sector times by Ham, but his car looked really twitchy and that kinda ruined it for him. So if they fix that, they are looking good indeed.

Anyway, the shark fin seems to work for Ferrari, esp for Massa, but Kimi did ok too, considering it was his first contact with it, he just needs a few more laps with it. But did you guys notice any difference in the behaviour of the car from the onboard shots? I really couldn't tell the difference from that point of view. Oh well...we'll just have to see how it works in the race I guess.

I noticed actually in one pic on f1.com Kimi wasn't using the shark fin in practice.

massa could be winning this time. remember he was on pole in monaco which si similar to this circuit and he is a great qualifier. A good qualifying is what you need to win in hungary*

* in normal conditions

Is expected rain for sunday?. if so, Massa could be on Pole but sure he would not win
