why should they investigate it anyway?

Alonso in a Renault with heavy fuel v Kimi in a Ferrari with little fuel. obvious outcome!

investigation is needed but into the problems we saw Yesturday , 2 fires in 10 years (Bernoldi in 2002 and Schumacher in 2004) as opposed to 3 pit fires Yesturday Alone

Toyota also had a problem I think - put too much fuel into Timo's car at his first stop

No, that was a failure of fuel rig. They didn't fuel him too much. They just replaced the failure one with an operating one which caused to spend too much time in the pit.

You see, in the first pic, failed rig was removed.

Refuelling started 5 or more sec later

I thought the fires were because of high ambient temperature.

Perhaps so. Dpes my memory serve me correct here: at the 1994 German Grand Prix, Benneton used a fuel rig without the FIA seal on it (which enabled faster refueling) and that spillage from the quicker refuel combined with the temperature then caused the Jos the Boss's massive pit fire.

Maybe all the Hungary dramas were a bit of both like my (possibly incorrect) example.

Btw, Massa also had a small fire almost identical to Naka's this year at the 2007 Spanish Grand Prix, where Taku Sato also had one, so maybe heat was the problem.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

thanks to xyneid

Sadly Kimi's pit stops time are unavailable! ..if any1 have

And even if they few they manage to do that and fuel rig seal is unbroken ..nothing can be proved against Ferrari.

I post the video (onboard) of kimi's refuel. Is in this post, previous page. From the car was completely stoped until he start to move, there are only 6 seconds!!. Think Fuel Rig must plugged and unplugged, so there are not 6 seconds of fuel (12.1 litters by second), maybe 5 or less. I don't have any more info

Kimi's huge advantage had really shocked me while I was watching the race cos he had lost ground to Alonso when he lost his rear end and spectecularly pointed onto the track. In this video, it's understood pit stop was nearly 6 sec or even less one, which corresponds 12.1 * 6 <= 72 litres for 19 laps remaining. Than it's OK as the fuel burn figure per lap in Hungary is 2.85 litre. Probably Kimi was fuelled even lighter than this number.

Btw, it says in the website "Evans says, "Shell is very proud of the fact that we helped Ferrari reach a strong engine reliability record. By combining Shell V-Power race fuel with a suite of other Shell products, we create a complete package of care for Ferrari’s engine."

What record  The rule that stipulated the same engine for consecutive two races was put in 2005. Ferrari's reliability record was back in 2000's. Begining from 2006 Japan, Ferrari's record was not that good even compared to that of McLaren, which has been very popular thanks to its infamous reliability past.

kimi needs to improve his qualification position .. the guy has really good talents at the race but unfortenatlly he's unlucky .. he could won many of the previous races like the candian, french and the english gps .. but all his efforts went nothing

McLaren was so hopeless before that they couldn't even make the engine last through the practice sessions. That's why it's amusing that Mercedes-Benz is now the most reliable engine on the grid.
