Unfortunately, I will probably miss this Grand Prix, which I love. I will go to Tunesia for 8 days. I'll leave at the 15th of July, and will be back in Holland on the 22nd of July.

This sucks pretty hard, because I really love this GP!! I remember 2003.. Montoya, he's best race!! Huge crash in the first corner with Raikkonen and Barrichello.. SC... Montoya was just SOOO good, unbelieveble, never seen something like that before, almost lapping nr. 2 in the race. Also very very hot GP back then.

Expectations this year? Don't know, we'll see. It's been a while that they have been here, so, I'll wait with predicting until the weather is pronounced and when the Free Practices are driven. Williams, I expect to be strong, that's the only guess I make :p

Anyone else noticed a pattern from the last few races that the winner of the race before has not done well in the race after. Hamilton - Monaco then pit lane crash Canada. Kubica - Canada then a relatively poor France. and Massa - France then the 5 spins in Silverstone.

I may not be ready to accept the pattern. I want Lewis & Heikki to put up a good show again. Germany is the homeland of Mercedes & BMW. So i am expecting strong performance from Mclaren ... I m sure they would challenged by Ferrari .. Hope they can beat it

the boys from maranello need to get it together...........
I hope Nico Rosberg can score some points in front of his home crowd and come back where he belongs on the grid.....it's been a terrible year for him
that's all i'll say for now

Like people said above it's hard to predict that which team has the advantage before we know the weather.
I think that again it will be a close battle between McLaren's and Ferrari's and BMW tries to get between them. It's like 2003 season again when 3 teams are fighting for the race wins and championships.
This race has been very bad for Kimi and his best result was 3rd in 2006 but he has had very much bad luck particulary on this track so hopefully he and Ferrari can bounce back!
It's interesting to see that can Heikki be as strong in qualifying as he was in Silverstone.

Well, since Monaco, I've been baying for rain. I think I'll settle for a normal dry race with Ferrari one-two, Mac and BM fighting for 3rd to 6th places and Nando in 7th. I'd like to see a FIF or STR in 8th.
No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Hockenheim isn't famous for wet races. The last one was in 2000 and i don't expect a wet race or any wet session. However, a start crash is more likely to happen, maybe in the back of the field or at the front (as we saw it in 2003). So even if it's dry i think we will see an interisting race.
I'm expecting a Ferrari win, maybe a 1-2, a nice battle between McLaren and BMW Sauber and i also think that one of the midfield teams will mix up the starting grid again.

Without wanting to be nostalgic or sentimental I preferred the old Hockenheim. Anyway I think this could be a Magny-Cours repeat, with a Ferrari win and McLaren struggling to be third and fourth. BMW at home will do well and I fancy Kubica to get on the podium

i fancy a close macca-ferrari race. the mclarens wil be quick in s3, and the hairpin, but the ferrari down the back straight. looking forward to a race there again, prefer it to Nurburgring.
