Even being a Renault show off, it`s good to see Alonso in P1 i hope he qualifies well tomorow and get some points.
I just think he isn't doing himself justice, I'd like him to out-do Alonso. I dislike FA after last season ;)
- off topic -
Well i understand you dislike Alonso, it seems every Brits do, personnaly i don`t think Piquet Jr. has the skills to out-do Alonso, he`s showing that he`s an average driver. Hamilton did great last year, but to expect every rookies can beat Alonso ? I think he deserves a little more respect, here`s a guy that defeated Mr. Michael Scumacher himself twice, and because he talked too much or didn`t get along with a team is no good anymore ? hmmm, right. Even more respect to Nelson Piquet a man that won 3 world titles, not 1 but 3, and you think his son with 6 months of F1 with no results what so ever is behaving better than his dad ?

As i have said many times, i think Renault should review him after Hockenheim or Budapest, after racing on tracks he knows from his GP2 days. Remember, Alonso has only got 9 points and scored 5 of them on that crazy day down under in Australia. So over the previous 6 races, its been Alonso 4, Piquet 0 and although Alonso has been stronger, Piquet has been unlucky and he is bound to make more mistakes when he is under pressure like he is.

I am really looking forward for this race. Ferrari should do it this time. They should bag 18 points. And hopefully Kimi wins the race.

i think the ferrari's are the favorites, rain for raceday will definitely liven things up and probably give lewis and/or the bmw's a chance.

Yeah, I also think Hamilton is going to concentrate on passing cars too much and crash into someone, or he will suffer bad luck in the mid-field down into Adelaide hairpin on lap 1 with an accident happening.

What do people think are the chances of a Safety Car this year? Many more Lap 1 incidents this year than last.

Note that I am a Hamilton fan btw. I just think that even anyone could make a mistake in the mid-field.

Stupid? Why? Is this a new kind of humiliation? You always do that don't you? Nothing important and decent and valuable for you, expect Hamilton wins.

Today had gr8 time ..watching & chatting with dacer & raikkonen4ever on my stream page.Hamilton was joke ... running wide too many times!.Almost ever1 is chat room was bashing him  ..sadly no fp3 on itv!

Ferrari are quick ..but BMW continues their policy of hiding pace in fp1 fp2!
In Ferrari, can't say who has upper hand ..i guess Massa has tiny adv. over kimi on single lap.
Great lap frm alonso :p Weber & Sutil  Vettel

I keep repeating it like a mantra: how often do you see BMWs being fast on Fridays? Does it mean they will be slow tomorrow in Q3?:

Unlikely.
yes, you are right. I was not saying BMW are bad. I only said that for qualifying, we must thing BMW are fighting for top4
flapshot wrote:You think Alonso's time was for show (to please the French)? I actually think he will Q top three (probably sacrafice fuel and stop early). Nelson Piquet Jr is surely in for the chop soon. Still, he behaves better than his Dad ever did.

And didn't Alonso keep hold of the Renault well coming out of the final turn!? Anyone see that? Most impressive.
Read all my post on this topic. I also believe Alonso can get top 3 or 4. I only said, I don't believe Alonso can fight for pole tomorrow.

I think Piquet must forget Alonso results. He MUST learn this year, he is rookie, he can do rookie-mistake. And he has a very important issue. His teammate has 2 world champions, and maybe (for me sure) the best driver seting up a car from Australia to the end of season. Piquet must learn, make mistake and learn about it, and learn about his teammate, how to race and how to develop a car. Hamilton last year (for me) was the same, but he prefer go to press and fight with his teammate than learn any. Now we see how he is, a car not faster than last year and a lot of mistakes.

No offense, but if people are laughing at drivers that run wide, they are morons regardless of who the driver is. Lets put them in a F1 car.

we was not laughing about him. We was watching FP1, Tv coverage only show Mclaren, and show all his mistakes. Alonso was on TV, only a few second, just when break engine, and Kimi and Kubica was also a few second on TV.

No offense, but Ferrari won't be bothered by Hamilton, pretty obious he is the only one who can hurt the Reds, so a Ferrari 1-2 is most likely, the are already the team to lose the race.
