i think kimi will win this race... last year he lost the race in kualification lap, he did a mistake in the final sector...
in the race he has proved faster than the massa, but had to make the pit stop sooner never managed to pass the massa. (last year press conference)
ferrari switches of the race to race who does the first pit stop
and kimi won in 2005, wit the mclaren:)

Ferrari's advantage on end their good top end power will be crucial for this race since there are many uphill straights. It is a very fast track with only a few slow corners and the little Red Fiats like that! Plus the are being driven by two people who have had quiet a success in their recent past around this circuit!! I believe 1-2 for the Ferrari

So if Ferrari is expected to win here and in many other tracks too, are street tracks the only ones where McLaren has a chance to win? It's pretty much about development pace too. Maybe BMW will leapfrog everyone and start winning. :cheezy:

BMW will make a Pit Lane Park organization in Istanbul during weekend, at which we can look at race cars closely, inspect the mechanical parts, pit stops and even can drive the car. Heidfeld will be there I guess. I'll definitely be there and keep you informed/photographed. If anyone wants a sign of Nick, let me know :)

in Australia it was McLaren who dominated race fair and square Ferrari wasn't good at all so there's no need crazy things to win in Turkey i think Macca should carry less fuel in qualifying so they can take pole position,if they can take it, there'll be more chance to win the race..McLaren improved their fast corner speed with longer wheelbase so they should be quick at Turn 8..

Hamilton dominated in 2006 here (GP2)
In 2006 Massa won it by approximately 5 seconds over Alonso
In 2005 Raikkonen won it by approximately 19 seconds over Alonso

1.- Massa: a good track for him, with a good record behind him on it.
2.-Kimi: superior in most tracks, and probably faster than massa in the race.
3.-Kubica/heidfeld: I think BMW will do well, but i dont know which driver will do better
4.-kubica/Heidfeld same as above
5.-Hamilton/kovalainen: If he doesnt go light and try to recoup in the pits, this will be his (lewis') place, but i think he could get fourth and split the BM's
6.-hamilton/kovalainen:
7.-Alonso: I think Alonso, if on the form asin spain, would be able to go higher, but id be happ with him being seventh and building up throughout the year
8.-Trulli/webber: I think these two will fight for the last place, infact webber may hinder ALonso too.

I think Massa will win this race, because he seems to like this ciruit very much (he won 2 of 3 races there), but Räikkönen will always be close behind Massa maybe he will also take pole postition. Behind the two Ferraris McLaren and BMW Sauber will fight for the 3rd place. I also expect the McLaren to be better than the BMW Sauber. Behind these two teams there will be a fight for the last 2 or 3 point-positions (if one driver of the three top-teams will suffer a failure) between Toyota, Williams, Red Bull, Renault and Honda. Toyota has a good pace in this season and Williams, Red Bull and Renault are very close to them. The Honda-Team has made a step forward and if there many failures again they maybe score points again.

So all in all we gonna see a very interesting race Flag:##

I think Ferrari will be quick again but I think Mclaren will do anything to stop it and I think Bmw will be a bit behind (I hope i'm wrong). I hope for a surprise a different winner prehaps Kubica? And I do hope Vettel finally finish a race because otherwise he will be under pressure if he's not already.

I think Massa will win this one. He's very good at this circuit. And i think BMW will show that they're the "2nd force" on F1. McLaren have to work hard...

1 - Massa
2 - Raikkonen
3 - Kubica
4 - Heidfeld
5 - Hamilton

we know ferrari its fast in this kind of track, i believe the same thing most of you about 1-2 of ferrari (red fiats =sounds cheap and slow=) but i can´t wait until monaco to see ferrrari perfoirmance on slow track, remember the last year performance

well in mexico fiat means cheap and slow !!! are no in europe
