it was a rather horrible crash of heikki kovalainen (i think because of a damaged brake disk) but fortunately he is well. the race was very ferrari dominating one. hamilton didn't had really a chance to fight for the victory. However there many incidents during the race, which made this race one of the best I've ever seen. Flag:##

Horrible crash for Heikki !
But hopefully he is well :cheezy: . It's amazing how the nosecone of the McLaren was broken! The impact was huge! The main thing I think after seeing the nosecone of the Macca is that Kovi hurts his legs....... Hopefully it's not the case :)
What happened for Barrichello? And did he beat Riccardo Patrese's record of 256 GP?

AzShadow wrote:Yeah DC always has a crash with somebody. :p That makes of a nice prediction question. I also wonder what's going on with Vettel. I know that it's difficult to start from the back of the pack, but Fisichella has done relatively good job so far. Vettel was supposed to be the star of the future, but he isn't really impressive at the moment. :?

I was just reading his comments and it appears that he has been struggling with the car
I think with his performances in Japan & China 2007, people have massively upped their expectation from him. People assumed he would easily out-qualify and out-race his rookie team-mate

Ok thanks :cheezy:
Because I heard that the Barcelona GP is his 256 GP and some specialist said that this is his 255 GP ( doesn't count the San Marino GP)

I'm sorry but there's a mistake in my counting. Barrichello will level Ricardo Patrese in the Monaco Grand Prix. So he will beat Patrese one race later in Canada.

I think next time DC will be taken out by Takuma Sato :cheezy:

Terrible crash for Heikki, pleased he seems okay.

Kimi rocks, another 10 points for the King, that's gd to hear.

Sutil and Glock use DC as a pinball machine this time...whose next?

And Vettel doesn't finish again! When will he finish?

It was an enjoyable race from the point of view that I was expecting very little entertainment from Spain.

Certainly seemed to take an age to let everyone know whether Heikki was okay or not, for awhile I was concerned that they were keeping it quiet for a reason. Seems the old saying proved right; no news is good news.

Ferrari looked strong all weekend so no surprise in the podium. A shame Alonso retired from his home grand prix and was disappointed that Rosberg's Toyota engine let go.

Webber put in another good drive, is this the first time he's scored points in three consecutive races? DC must be wondering whether he's swapped luck with his team mate. Though I don't think any incidents this race were so bad that the stewards should feel the need to take any action.

Horrible crash for Heiki but I think he got of well consider the impact of the crash. Beside that it was a good race fun the watch a shame Hamilton couldn't catch up Massa a bit earlier I think it would have been a good fight ^^

If anyone hasn't seen the pictures thread, here is a pic from it of Kovy's accident. He is still in the car at this time.
