not gonna happen, dude...
they don't have the beemers pace, and even then Kovy is probably faster of the two...

Hamilton was quicker in all sessions so what is prediction based on?

My prediction is based on the 'fact' that Alonso and Kubica are very light, and I think Hamilton/McLaren has a better strategy..

Hamilton was quicker in all sessions so what is prediction based on?

One year ago, Lewis Hamilton was the meteoric rookie who seemingly could do no wrong.
At Barcelona, following a disastrous Bahrain Grand Prix, the 23-year-old McLaren driver is accused of having lost the spring in his step.
A reporter for the German magazine Auto Motor und Sport dared ask him if he is missing the technical experience of departed team-mate Fernando Alonso, who some say guided the setup of Hamilton's car last year.
"Nonsense," Hamilton fired. "Fernando and I have a similar driving style, but with the setup we usually went our separate ways."
Alonso's former manager, however, is in no doubt that the Spaniard is the missing element at Woking this year.
"Fernando arrived last year, put the car on the right track, and they thanked him by basically kicking him out," Adrian Campos told the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
"And look where they are now," he added.

What do you mean? Quicker then whom? Quicker then Kovy?
this is not enough. Kovy is more consistent recently as far as a race goes...
Anyway, i don't care about Maccas much, they not gonna mess ferrari's 1-2 and hopefully Qbi's 3rd...

Even if Alonso is light on fuel, that is part of having a smart strategy,I can see Alonso beating the McLarens though.

It`s not Renault who cares, but maybe Alonso wants to shine and show to everyone specially in his own country, that progress have been made.

Fair enough :cheezy:

oh, don't get me wrong... I don't have any problem with maccas (or ferraris, or bmws) winning. it's just a prediction based on my observation, nothing more, nothing less... we will know soon enough if it's right or completely wrong...

if reliability is in Ferrari side, we'll for sure see Kimi win possibly a 1-2 again and with Alonso i think the same thing will happen like Kubica in Bahrain (light and fast in qualy but in race not that strong) ..... behind the Ferrari's, Kubica and 1 or 2 Mclarens
As I walked through it Sunday evening, I couldn’t help but be amazed by the scale of this operation and the thousands of man hours that go into entertaining us for a couple of hours, 17 times a year.

Actually, Kubi finished Bahrain like what? 5 seconds behind ferraris? with nick further 4 seconds back?
that's WAAAY better tahn maccas, not to mention Alonso...

BTW, does anyone know why they removed the right corner before the straight line and put a "s" in there ? It was a great corner to build speed to the last one !
