Again, remind you that the competition starts on qualifying. :wink: So no need to get worried about practice results. :p

I'd expect Ferrari to be on top. As for McLaren and BMW, I really don't know which one is better. It might be that they're even stronger than Ferrari in qualifying. Don't expect Renault to get too far. There's definitely at least three teams ahead of them.

They weren't sandbagging, they just don't have the same need as the midfieldteams to do true qualy simulations, as they are pretty sure they will make it into Q3 anyway.

I think we will see a ferrari driver standing on top when the race has finished. However, I can't say if it will be Räikkönen or Massa. Hopfully Kimi won't suffer a technical problem as last year. Behind Ferrari there will be a hard fight for the 2nd and 3rd positions between BMW and McLaren. I expect that McLaren will be a little bit faster than the BMW. For the positions 5 to 8 we will se four teams fighting (Toyota, Williams, Red Bull, Renault in that order). I don't think that the Honda has the pace to fight for points

I think Kimi has a good chance to grab his first pole here. Unless Massa runs less fuel again.

Fernando Alonso comes through Campsa on his qualifying lap and the Spanish fans rise to applaud him. He comes through to set the third fastest time so far - 1:21.895.

Both Super Aguris, both Force India cars, Sebastian Vetel and Rubens Barrichello are all in the dropzone, and must improve their times to have any chance of progressing through to Q2.
