They'd only pray that he will be struck by lightning or something... :@:2

I can't see Alonso doing all that well this season..

And he said he doesn't mind sitting back on the title fight this year, pfft. :tired:

Yeah right. :nosweat:

Alonso will be in the top 5. He's too talented to stop.

It would be cool if BMW can do well from the beginning of the season and challenge Ferrari & McLaren, but anyway, I want Ferrari to be much stronger than the rest :cheezy:

I never liked Renault, even less Briatore, and even more less Alonso, so I hope they do more or less like last year, meaning by that that they would be the 4th/5th team on the grid struggling to get in the points in each and every race. But with the middle field so close as it appears to be (and adding to this that IMHO Alonso is almost always very lucky with the circumstances of the races), Alonso could be very well 4th or 5th in the standings.

I would like to see Red Bull, Toyota, Williams & Renault in a close fight for the 5,6,7,8 places in each race.

Force India has only brought one 2008 chassis to Melbourne, it will be Fisichella,Sutil has to drive with the old car.

This better be a good race as after getting up at 3am to watch both qualifying and the race you want a good race to show for it.I feel sorry for the Australians getting up at iam to watch all the European races.Anyway I see Raikkonen and Ferrari winning race and championship comfortably this year

Apparently McLaren occupy the number two garages next to Ferrari. This from a Melbourne source close to the circuit and picked up by The Advertiser newspaper

It's almost here, guys! !yahoo: I can almost hear the engines now :p

So are any of the Europeans gonna watch the free practices tonight? I honestly was thinking not to, but since tomorrow I don't have anything important to do in the morning, I think it's gonna be a looong night. :tired: It's been too long without F1 and i can't help it, I guess :cheezy:

Oh and btw, does anyone know how to watch the 1st free practice online? I know that the second one is on TVU, but can't seem to find a place to watch the 1st... Any ideas?

:cheesy: Hehe, I think McLaren is 5th as they agreed on. BMW and Renault would probably have made quite a bit noise about it if McLaren had walked over them.

Lilellatho, I think you can watch FPs from ITV's web site. Fergie wrote about it here:

Ferrari new livery looks great from back... but hardcore Marlboro bar code from sideview on engine cover looks flashy!Anyways Etihad joins Ferrari due to brand conflict with Kingfisher Airways @ Force India.
