Re: Worse Grand Prix

I think the US Grand Prix of 2005 was ITV's finest moment! They made the build-up somehow exciting and kept cutting away from the "race" to hear from the fans leaving the track, team bosses (good old Paul Stoddart) and other drivers. Martin Brundle confronting Ecclestone on the grid was a ...

My trip to Spa, 2008

Family trip to Spa last September, bronze tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Being the biggest F1 nut out of us, I'd planned where we'd try to watch from before we set off - that big grass bank at Pouhon. The pictures all link to my Flickr account! Re: Most Striking Car For 2009 !

The Renault looks so ridiculous, I actually kind of like it. Voted for the McLaren though, 'cause I'm loving that nose it's got.

No Walrus-nose for Williams then!

Re: Reasons why people dislike Lewis Hamilton?

REASONS TO HATE LEWIS HAMILTON AFTER MY WEEKEND AT SILVERSTONE: 1. THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE IN RED MCLAREN-LEWIS CAPS. Some of them were not real fans. Fickle like footie fans. Probs watching like 2 races in their lives and think they know it all. Lewis has introduced a lot of new fans, especially kids,...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Santander British Grand Prix

Thoroughly enjoyable, action-packed afternoon - any F1 fan would agree no matter who won. I feel bad for Massa, either his car had issues that haven't been identified yet or he just wasn't on the ball. World champions need to be able to master all kinds of conditions after all! As some have already ...

Whose idea was it to put a staircase on the front of a car? Why stop there, why not add a conservatory and a patio?

Re: Eccelstone and the Aussie GP

Bernie's going senile. He seems to forget that us, the fans, are the most important people in the sport. Of course holding a race in somewhere like India's going to get a new audience, but people will just turn up out of curiosity rather than because they're fans. It's like American football being i...

I also agree that Hamilton will be light to get pole, like Alonso in Spain earlier. Unlike Alonso, he has a chance of winning the race though!

Had a look around, most places are predicting rain for both qualifying and the race.

Re: Help me in youtube

It's not as if anybody is losing money from people loading F1 videos onto YouTube. You can't buy the races anyway. I can understand them taking down clips off the highlights DVDs, but otherwise, it's just annoying and mental!

Yeah, they got rid of the gravel at Stowe after 2002 I think. Copse got the same treatment.

Re: Donington to host 2010 British Grand Prix!

Bernie could himself put money towards any improvements he thinks Silverstone needs. Myself, I can't see why he hates it so much, as people have said before. I think it's safe to say most of us fans who've been there have had great experiences. Silverstone's been improving for years, and he expects ...

Re: Donington to host 2010 British Grand Prix!

I don't mean to be negative, but I'm not convinced. I love Donington too, but for F1 to go there, it'll have to change beyond all recognition. They'll have to completely re-do the track, probably getting Hermann "Boring" Tilke to design it. Think Bahrain without the sand! I'm confident if ...
