Re: 2009 Santander British Grand Prix

I'm going - I'm doubtful it's the last ever time we'll see Silverstone on the calendar, but let's forget about the uncertainty for a while! Admittedly I'd love to be there to witness a Button victory, but I've always been a big fan of Rubens (and Rubens has always been a big fan of Silverstone) so I...

Re: Silverstone 2009

Hmm, no luck on YouTube either - oh well, it'll make it more exciting for when we get there on Saturday morning! Do you have seats or general admission tickets, Fergie1? Good luck with the exam phil1993! Seats but you sit wherever you want even with general admission on Friday and Saturday. I didn'...

Re: Silverstone 2009

Just booked our tickets this morning, "GOLD" tickets at Vale. The description on the site says: "A fantastic position with unsurpassed views of the circuit stretching from Hangar Straight, through Stowe Corner past Club and as far as Bridge, making it a superb viewing point. This gran...

A Canon EOS 300D and an EOS 40D. Some I improved with Photoshop, like the contrast and that sort of thing, I don't really know what I'm doing with cameras. My dad took a couple of them.

Re: F1 09 TV Coverage

I'm also not sure about Jonathon Legard yet. Seems a bit bland. His articles and blogs on the BBC website aren't all that interesting either, I'm wondering why he was chosen over Radio 5 Live's David Croft. Having said that, viewers can choose to switch to his and Anthony Davidson's radio commentary...

Re: F1 09 TV Coverage

I agree, though now there are no breaks to get drinks or go to the toilet. Exactly what I was going to say! We sort of have to plan our snack/toilet break strategies now, taking into account when we believe there will be the least amount of on-screen action to miss. Just when we thought this season...

Reckon Button will revert to his usual helmet design once the team get the car livery sorted? Hope so, even though Barrichello's helmet looks like it usually does.

Good shots!

Re: Donington to host 2010 British Grand Prix!

That video simulation didn't impress me too much. Looks a bit like a street circuit. Can't see many obvious overtaking spots - much easier to overtake in a videogame than in real life!

Re: My trip to Spa, 2008

We might, we all had a great time, but if we do I think we'll book seats. When you know you have seats in a grandstand somewhere it's a big weight off your mind.

Re: My trip to Spa, 2008

Thanks all!

Glad if anyone finds that useful - I was looking for a thread like this before we went to the race, when you don't have seats booked there are loads more things you need to think about! This Going to a GP section was a great idea, it'd be good to hear about other people's experiences.
