Re: 2010 Car Launches & pictures

Good to see the stubborn Yorkshiremen managed to keep the rose on the livery! I think it's a good-looking car, but nothing can hide the fact that "Virgin Racing" is the worst name for a Formula One team in history.

It's because the idiots who created it have obviously never been to a Formula One event and so have no reason to believe that people under 18 enjoy the sport.

Re: My GP for 2010

Just booked my Silverstone tickets for this year. Booked them for Luffield B, but forgot they were changing the circuit! No more Bridge. Should be an interesting new view though. Can't find any photos taken from Luffield B, has anyone sat there before? I have plenty from Luffield A , sat there in qu...

Re: 2010 Car Launches & pictures

I love this time of year, with all the unveilings. Prefer the actual races, but it's still an exciting time.

F1 is a sport, it's just mental, that's all. That's why we love it.

Re: A1 Ring

I was expecting the track to have been ripped up, like at the old Hockenheim. A bit odd how the grandstands haven't been knocked down, some of the tyre barriers are still there, and advertising banners are still up. Spooky photos. It's like everyone just suddenly left. The gravel traps still have th...

Re: My GP for 2009

Without wanting to sound like a nagging parent, think about where you're planning on sitting/standing before you head off! I'm not sure how close you can actually get to Les Combes with General Admission tickets. Obviously you can stand alongside the Kemmel straight, it's really popular, but you're ...

Re: Silverstone 2009

Cheers! Had a great time.

Took those with a Canon EOS 40D with a massive lens belonging to my dad. Some were cropped a bit in Photoshop and I adjusted some of the contrast and so on. I rely on Photoshop to make my pictures look half decent!

Re: Silverstone 2009

We watched final practice from the pits straight, qualifying from Luffield and the race from Vale. Fantastic atmosphere both days! My best photos from the weekend: All pictures link back to my Flickr account, as instructed by their TOS Heidfeld's reflection going down the pitlane http://farm4.static...

And with this exciting news fresh in my head, I'm gonna get some sleep before heading off to Silverstone!

Re: £40m Budget Cap and Controversies

Formula One will technically still exist though, won't it? Just nobody will watch it. Wonder what the new championship will be called.

At the minute, it's Kasabian's latest album - which I can't stop listening to. Seeing them at Wembley Stadium next month, supporting Oasis! What a line-up!

It's all sorted! Got 'em.

Apparently our tickets were among the last to be sent, because the grandstand's new or sommat.

How is that ridiculous? It's within the regulations. It'd be ridiculous to not allow it.
