Re: 2013 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix

Here is my take on the race in Japan. I know not all will agree with me on Grosjeans race. But it really has been hyped beyond reason. For instance, Edd Straw gave Grosjean a 10 for effectively losing 2 places and finishing 3rd. Kimi didn't even get that in the Australia ratings when he came from 7t...

Re: Korean Grand Prix 2013

Great writeup of the race in Korea, Phil. Nice statistic about Cevert too. I was not aware. I sense a lot of praise and well reflected views on Kimi by other forumers here. So I'm sure no one will mind me posting the link to my Kimi-centered review of the Korean GP :O http://f1bias.com/2013/10/08/ko...

Re: 2013 Shell Belgian Grand Prix

Quite a lot of time it's when there's no first lap SC. Because you then get a large field spread which reduces the likelihood of incidents. It's a common thing in Melbourne as well. Abu Dhabi last year was average until the SC, then it threw up different strategies, closed everyone up and put peopl...

Re: Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix

Driver Ratings! http://www.f1zone.net/news/bahrain-grand-prix-driver-ratings/18659/ I could not agree more. Good rundown. Only driver I disagree with is Webber. Should have been a 5/10 at best. Especially when looking at his teammate. His pace was really abysmal. He was not able to keep his tires a...

Re: UBS Chinese Grand Prix

Kimi wouldnt leave a space because nobody with intelligence would go for an overtake where your car would be half off track over kerbs for a right hand turn where your totally offline. And he tried to go for something which would never be there in Japan; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZoESZe0mCs 4...

Re: UBS Chinese Grand Prix

Kimi might have left a space if it had been the other way around. He would certainly do so. He is one of the cleanest and fairest drivers, always leaves a space for the opponent, never pushes anybody off the track. Indeed. But the problem is that he cannot expect everyone to do the same. I know he ...

Re: UBS Chinese Grand Prix

Even after watching Soren's clip... i think Perez should have left the space. Isn't that like the new rule or something? Bold move by Kimi though.... Kimi might have left a space if it had been the other way around. But he should have known that the outside doesn't work there. And it seems that it ...

Re: UBS Chinese Grand Prix

Driver ratings http://www.f1zone.net/news/chinese-gp-driver-ratings/18515/ Great rundown. And regarding Kimi-Perez, I have to put the blame on Kimi there even if I am a fan. Overtaking on the outside of turn 5-6 doesnt work. Perez drove the racing line and Kimi should have baited his time and got t...

Re: Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix 2013

What a weird crazy GP. Entertaining even though my fav driver had a bad race. I did my usual race review. And I finished it a lot faster than usual. I think it's because I didn't listen to team orders :p I suppose my opinion on Vettel/Webber is in disagreement with many. But that is my view and I'm ...

Re: 2013 Rolex Australian Grand Prix

This was pretty funny  My pulse is racing as the lights go on, one by one. I suddenly get a horrible thought. Kimi could be taken out by someone in 10 seconds from now! What the heck, brain? Shut up! As I fight my pessimistic side, the lights go out and I strain to see how Kimi fares. Oh no, t...

Re: 2013 Rolex Australian Grand Prix

You're review would be cute to anyone if it wasn't because "being centered on a driver" shouldn't be a reason to jump with slurs against others. ;) The "Golden Goose" will likely lay an egg once he finally has a reasonable car through out the year to reasonably fight for the championship (it seems ...

Out of hibernation and straight into the mix. What a fantastic race. And not just because my favorite driver won. It was genuinely exciting and unpredictable. Awesome. I did my usual Kimi centered race review if anyone is interested :) http://f1bias.com/2013/03/17/australia-gp-13-easy-peasy-lemon-sq...

Re: Grande Prêmio Petrobras do Brasil 2012

I dont get it. I thought it was established by the BBC I think, reviewing the footage after the race that it was not a yellow light, but a slippery track light. Its just hard to tell the difference from the video.
