Re: UBS Chinese Grand Prix
Strong rumours picking up that Mark Webber has signed a 5 year deal with Porsche's LMP1 project. Tweeted by Kate Walker (F1 journalist) and MotoGP/Le Mans commentator Toby Moody. Interesting. Am waiting to hear more. Yep. Though we don't even know if Porsche will stay that long, since from next yea...

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
I must've had an adverse affect on people because it appears everyone is arguing with each others opinions. On the Hamilton-Alonso thing. Its not a love-in. The enemy of my enemy, is my friend. Both know each other are the best drivers aside from themself; they know the other is their main threat. ...

I guess if you say so, it must be true.F1EA wrote:There is no "Alonso - Hamilton lovefest".
Alonso/Lewis simply get asked who they consider their biggest threat. They answer.
That's it.

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Its not really jumping though is it? THIS IS having a discussion. You want to state your opinion, but when I state mine you suddenly become defensive and all? Plus, I don't see where I said that you were a Vettel fan in my comment... Calm down, you're making it sound very personal :) I'm not taking...

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Good read here from Marc Priestly, who worked at McLaren for a decade http://www.pitpass.com/48765-Team-Disorders Thanks phil again! Very insightful piece. Agree. Nice share, thanks phil. Makes it all the more obvious how their bonding in recent time is actually just a way to compensate for the fac...

Re: Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix 2013
I'm just so impressed by Bianchi. You can say that it's because STR and Williams slipped back but even so, he's only 1.6s slower than the best Q1 time and he was so much quicker than the other guys at the back. Yeah, the guy is a nice surprise (for me at least). And it shows that most talk about dr...

Re: Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix 2013
I'm happy for a Vettel pole, but I realize that it's only thanks to the rain. I'm pretty sure that tomorrow he will be overtaken by both Ferraris in the blink of an eye. Which is sad... However, that being said, I hope Ferrari will let Massa do his thing and won't interfere. That guy deserves a win...

Couldn't agree more. Also, Webber is not happy at all.phil1993 wrote:I'm so happy to see Massa doing well. I really, really want to see him win a race again.

Thanks for the info. Let's hope some of the showers actually hit the track.cformula1 wrote:Couple of light showers around in the Melbourne metropolitan area- one of which may hit the track (according to my interpretation of the radar), but nothing substantial.MavF1 wrote:So, rain is expected I suppose?

Re: 2013 Rolex Australian Grand Prix
If the Mercedes doesn't fall flat in the race than I'll be really, really surprised about its performance. The gap from Vettel to Hamilton is a little worrying, but it was an unusual session, so there is hope. Hoping for rain in the race.

Re: 2013 Rolex Australian Grand Prix
Stupid. That's not nice, not what I would expect from a moderator. :( Huh? He was just referring to the situation, which is stupid to say the least. We've seen worse. I'm not seeing what part of it is "stupid". Is keeping the drivers safe "stupid", or are you referring to something else? Of course ...
