£40m Budget Cap and Controversies
I think it is much more interesting and "promising" which deserves more attention than medal system. Here is the details. We can discuss on these. FIA introduces £30m budget cap - Whole Article The FIA has introduced a budget cap in Formula 1 for the 2010 season, as autosport.com predicted last mont...

Re: 2009 Winter & Mid-season testing (Results and Pictures)
Hold on a second-Brawn win the race in Australia? Their testing times are impressive, but don't assume they'll be challenging for victories.Lets get to Australia and see their perfomance there, but their performance is astonishing and they'll be up there, but I'm not sure they'll win the race. You'd b...

arent honda using kers? if not then they might be running the weight of kers lower than the legal limit.. Same thoughts here :zz: Team that failed to calibrate wind tunnel for two year ..suddenly bang on top! When asked to Massa, he told reporters that he would never achieve that lap time o...

Re: 2009 Winter & Mid-season testing (Results and Pictures)
For Ferrari, Toyota and BMW, test sessions are over. They must pack their freight on March 19th so they have one week to remedy all of their gremlins, for particularly Ferrari. Why they seem to be so strong may be due to their excess mileage compared to their rivals. In other words, they must be rea...

Massa has beaten last year's fastest lap not one but many times. If they don't experience any technical woes , we might see a prancing horse domin...

Re: Japan in F1 - Suzuka back; Is Fuji better?
I´ve voted for Suzuka. The circut has seen many good races during the past years!! Yes but I don't think neither Suzuka nor Fuji is inherently promising circuits in terms of overtaking and exciting races. In 2005 Suzuka, both title contenders and title holder himself were back at the grid making th...

Re: 2009 FORMULA 1 ING Australian Grand Prix
dont forget the weight factor. Kers is quite a heavy device. and if the advantage isnt that great its just one more thing that can cause reliability problems. particularly as its situated near the rear and can cause havoc with the balance. This weight issue can be very decisive for BMW drivers as H...

McLaren must hope that their starts won't look like this when the races start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ihr4yGRMYpo&feature=channel An attachment: James Allen's blog Perhaps the most interesting little nugget I picked up in my two days at the test was the start practice the drivers did at lun...

Hamilton crashed his car into Turn 3. Test is over for him and Mclaren for today, albeit they were dead last being 2,5 slower than Button.
Edit: Oops, he's on track again. A quick repair from Macca contrary to their on-track performance.

Re: 2009 Winter & Mid-season testing (Results and Pictures)
if the only problem ferrari have is with the kers, I'm very happy. many teams won't be using kers (reliably away) until midseason, if at all, and the advantage of using kers still has to be proven Yes but then Ferrari might be in a position of playing catch-up BMW, who are believed to be advanced i...

Ferrari again experience some technical glitches, both yesterday and today. Thef1.com reports that Massa had a technical failure in the morning causing a red flag and forcing Massa to wait in the garage. He could manage only 8 lap against Button's 46, who is leading the time sheets. Yesterday, it wa...
