Charlie Kimball has won the Indycar race from Mid Ohio. It's the first win for a driver with Type I Diabetes in the history of the sport. It was possible to complete the 90 lap race in 2 stops (on laps 30 and 60) which the front row starters did, however driving slow throughout the race to save fuel...

It was a great race though. Very fast with few incidents until the end. I prefer to see races where the best drivers win.

I was a month old when Indycar had last raced at Pocono. Although I don't think the race was thrilling, it was interesting throughout to see how the strategies would unfold. Also to have the top 10 cars so close together throughout the race was great. I can't wait for the second double header weeken...
