Re: James Allen ITV

But its been announced, its set in stone.James Allen has calmed down a bit lately,in Japan I thought he was better than usual. Not hard to do admittedly. For the most part true. But that was only because Hamilton was out of the running. However, he couldn't NOT mention Turkey'06 after the Spewis/Mass...

Re: F1 Returns to BBC 2009

If that's the final confirmation, despite not knowing most of the line-up, it sounds good to me. I would've preferred Rosenthal to return since he's now at the BBC, but anybody is better that Hamilton/McLaren bum chum Rider. DC will also be a phenomenal improvement on Steve's parrot, Blundell. I've ...

Re: James Allen ITV

James Allen is a decent pitlane reporter and book writer, but no more, he tries but he isn't gd enough for a commentator.. However, it was always goin to be tough stepping into Murray's shoes, he is irreplaceable. I've never read his books but I'm told they're good. I agree though, he was mega in t...

Re: F1 Returns to BBC 2009

Although this is all unconfirmed at the moment, it sounds considerably better than the current ITV-F1 Spewis Crapilton Show that we're currently enduring. We might actually get a return to proper F1 coverage with the Beeb .

Re: Least Favourite F1 Drivers

I immensely dislike Lewis Hamilton. Not because of his skill as a driver but as a character/person. He takes arrogance to a whole new level and I hope he chokes to death on his own smug gittiness :<>:.

I second that

Re: Reasons why people dislike Lewis Hamilton?

What I dislike about Lewis Hamilton is that he had a Brilliant start to his Formula 1 career, but all our noses have been rubbed in it, and every 3rd advert nowdays seems to have him in it. People are just bored of him I also hate Steve Rider, the only reason they show his head and shoulders while ...

Re: Reasons why people dislike Lewis Hamilton?

I only hate him through no fault of his own, and that is the demi-god status that he's been given by ITV. Even if every third sentence contained "Lewis Hamilton" in it, then I would see that to be a great improvement and then I'd start to like him a bit more. The over-the-top pro-Hamiltonism is wha...

Re: David Coulthard - Old and Wise

Ok, first off, DC was adamant in both cases that he could see them and knew where they were. Secondly, slightly over-optomistic they were, but surely if DC was a wise old head, he'd give them acres of room, especially in JB's case. In both incidents, he closed the door very strongly where Massa's m...

Re: Felipe Massa

As long as there is Hamilton ,Massa will be number 2 Ever considered a job at ITV-F1 dude? I was watching itv race build up and then they were saying "Hamilton has already got the victory, the only thing remaining is to finish the race." No surprise there. You have to laugh when things they say com...

Re: James Allen ITV

Too bad ITV won't listen to us... Thankfully this time next year, we won't be enduring their diabolically s*** Hamilton-infested coverage. This weekend will be centred around Lewis' kit bag being stolen, and ITV will typically blow it all out of proportion and make it out like Lewis survived a terr...

Re: David Coulthard - Old and Wise

Er sorry to buck the trend of complimentary comments to DC, but I think he picked the right moment to retire. He's missed out on so many wins that he deserved in the past, but this season, he's collided with Massa, Button, Glock, Sato, Vettel and Barrichello. That's a collision every two races on a...

I feel sorry for Kovalainen. This means he's stuck being Lewis' footstool for another year. Poor bloke
