Webber did go out to do a lap early on, but he felt it wouldn't be good enough and aborted it to save fuel.

No surprises for pole, though Heidfeld seems way off the pace and a disappointing lap from Raikkonen. Webber just managed to get ahead of Alonso, so looks like the Red Bull is pretty decent around here.

I'd say it is between Nakajima and Glock, but too early to really discount the other two; by mid season we should have an accurate picture.
