Re: United States Grand Prix 2013
Great race by Vettel and Grosjean! Again Webber's race has been spoiled by his (poor?) start and nice to see Bottas getting his first points, after being so impressive this week-end. It was so weird to see Hamilton with his special helmet, at one point I was thinking that Schumacher is having a good...

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Interesting article! But in the Singapore video, does Vettel's engine sounds more like exhaust blowing than kind of TC? . I may be totally wrong but to me, at the middle of the corner it just sound like blown exhaust but he goes "full throttle" at the exit of corner, in the same place as other cars....

Re: Grand Prix de Monaco 2013
In Massa's crash, it looks like the front left lost pressure in the braking, doesn't seem to be a driving mistake.
Grosjean.... it's very frustatring to see him fast but crashing a lot! Tomorrow I'll see the race in Monaco but what a shame, I won't see Grosjean passing by

Re: 2013 Rolex Australian Grand Prix
What a race it was!! Nice battles, nice overtakes, Massa back on form and Raikkonen winning!
I was afraid like many of us to see Vettel easily win but it was not the case! Just one sad thing is that McLaren are nowhere! To even think to bring back the MP4-27 is something!

Re: Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2012
At least Vettel can't do worse than last year.
But he can forget that race already. In this track somehow there is no overtaking. And the RedBulls have the slowest top speed.
But the race will be entertaining now ^^

Re: Korean Grand Prix 2012
Oups my bad ^^! He didn't finish that race but I forgot he got a point.
Grosjean had a clean race today but, do you think he was over cautious on the move on Hamilton when he runs wide and give Hulkenberg the opportunity to pass him?

Re: Korean Grand Prix 2012
Boring race... I think there is too much corners on this track... But nice to see Massa on par with Alonso during the last races. Solid race by the Redbulls and Hulkenberg. Impressive stuff by Ricciardo and Vergne. Ferrari has had a car finish every race since Australia 2006, McLaren since USA 2006....

Re: Korean Grand Prix 2012
Who will be Grosjean's next victim? Since Maldonado isn't involved anymore with accidents for about 2-3 races, I think Gro will crash him on T3 ( over cautions in T1, he will be happy to past turn 1 and then turn 3... badaboom!! On a serious note, I think RedBull and Vettel will blow the field again...

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Grosjean was telling on French television that, after his one-race ban, he tried not to be involved in first lap incident and was completly focused on not touching Perez.... but didn't see that Webber carried less speed in the first turn.... He has to keep his head cool because it seems that he is m...

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
Good race by Vettel, Massa and Koba! Bad luck for Alonso, to be taken out of the race for the second time on the first corner by a Lotus.... And Grosjean is the worst starter I have ever seen. He is quick in qualifying, he has good race pace and can make clean overtakes but his race starts are just ...

Re: 2012 Shell Belgian Grand Prix
Actually the last person to have a one race ban was Felipe Massa in 2002. He was banned of the US GP for that reason : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjunCawz2Zk The same exact move as Grosjean, with minor consequences, but still he was banned for one race. Having seen that, for me the one race ban ...

Re: 2012 Shell Belgian Grand Prix
And he'll be the first driver to get that penalty since Schumacher in 1994. Isn't Hakkinen having a 1 race ban for triggering a multiple car crash at one gp in 94? Grosjean totally deserved the ban, it's not the first time that he cut the line of one driver at the start. And this time the consequen...

Re: Maria de Villota seriously injured in testing accident
On youtube I found an incident with Coulthard at the ROC 2008 :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yEfSCfEZOY
In the end the front wheels was locked but the car still accelerating.
Maybe the same thing happened to De Villota?
Hope she make a speedy recovery

Re: Rate the 2012 European Grand Prix
1 - Best Driver Vettel and Alonso. Going 2 seconds per lap faster than anybody was simply magic! Alonso has shown once again that without the best car ( although the Ferrari is now a very good car ) he can have a shot at a victory! How many drivers does he pass to go from 11th to 1st? 2 - Best Team ...

Maybe the wheel nuts for faster pit stops are in cause, no? Because since 2010 we had much more loose wheels.phil1993 wrote:What's alarming is the way the wheel came off; same with Pastor in FP3
Hope we don't see that too often!
