Re: Is F1 heading for a calendar problem?

With Europe's near dead economy its logical to look outside the region. Do a 20 race season 5 races in Asia/Pacific islands, 5 races in the Middle East, 5 races in Europe, and 5 races in the Americas. Group the races together by region. A true World Championship.

Re: Winter Testing 2012

Re: 2012 Formula One Discussion

Kubica to Ferrari links have been in the air since signing with Renault... it was pretty obvious during the season what he brings to the table so the last thing a team would want is to send him away... he is great at setting the cars up but still needs maturity behind the wheel... he will be driving...

Re: Increasing F1 relevance to those that pay the bills

the gear boxes are now in street cars, tire development too, the FXX was basically taken from a F1 car... the only time of racing that is relevant to street cars is sports cars... BMW pulled out for a reason... NASCAR isnt much different either

Re: If you could make the regulations regarding design....

simple fix to get F1 back to the old times... 650+ hp from any engine of choice and reduce tire width to 255 rear and 205 front and see what can be done... no ground effects, traction control, DRS, allow a traditional blown diffuser not the exhaust gas version... use E85 fuel to be politically corre...

Re: 2010-11 Silly Season

SPEED.com in the US was reporting Villeneuve is planning on putting together a team with possible help from Flavio Briatore and Pat Simmons... he claims there is funds in place to do it... considering he couldn't even set up a 2nd tear nascar deal this has to be a hoax

Re: 2010 Winter Testing

Mercedes practically confirm that they were running heavy and had unexpected teething issues with the car and they were constantly withing half a second of Ferrari... also notice the pace of Sauber compared to last year... i guess the new power plant has been "improved" a bit from last year

Re: New Tyre Rule for 2010

generally the tires that set the fast time are the ones that they end with not start so there shouldn't be any confusion... puncturing the tires is a bad idea... with 3 less sets this season compared to last no team can afford a puncture
