Re: Whos going to be 2008 World Champion ?

At this point in the championship and looking at the whole picture, I'd have to say Hamilton, as much as it hurts me. But with only 7 races to go, with Ham being no. 1 at Macca, the Ferrari drivers taking points off eachoter, and Kimi's struggles in quali, I can't see it any other way. Add to that t...

Re: What's wrong with Kimi???

Stay away from Kimi! :<>: :nosweat: No, but seriously, I'm getting sick and tired of peple questioning his motivation and stuff just because he's not winning at the moment. I mean, heck, if he made it through those terrible McLaren days when the car was either too slow or broke down after a few laps...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

As far as i remember, Kimi is the guy who is behind that decision whether he would be heavy or light in the race. He feels much more comfortable in the race with a clear track when all others pitted. 7 fastest laps proved this. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a "conservatist" driver, which is no...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

Guys, does anyone know the engine cycles for this race or maybe a link to check? Don't know where to look for it. Nice to see you again, welcome back :) Btw, Heikki managed what other two Fin fellows Kimi and Mika couldn't in their first McLaren years by winning in his first season. Thanks, Xyneid,...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

And then I just wonder - since Kimi was doing so much better on the soft tyres, why didn't they put them on for two stints for him and not only one? Yeah, Suntrek, sometimes I also wonder about the bizarre strategies Ferrari come up with these days. And why on earth was Kimi so much heavier t...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

Hey, does everyone find it extremely curious how lucky Lewis always seem to be, even when having problems. I mean here he is in 2nd place, destroys a tyre close to his pit window and is able to continue and just when you think he is about to lose the lead in the champ, kaboom goes Massa's engine and...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

Wow, a race that was totally different from what I expected. I was actually making plans to shut down the TV and go for a walk after the start thinking it would finish that way :nosweat: Well, congrats to Heikki, it must feel sweet for him to get his first win but one has to say he was reeeeally luc...

Re: Will Jenson Button win a World title with Honda ?

Can't see him winning even one more race, let alone a championship to be honest. I think he's a good driver, but the situation he's in at the moment looks quite difficult for him but I guess he got himself into it with some of the choices he made in his career or simply not being in the right place ...

Re: James Allen ITV

Yeah, Brundle shouls definitely switch to BBC. He knows his stuff and some of his quips live and his gridwalks crack me up. And is Ben Edwards the guy who does the Official FIA Season Reviews? Never heard him commentating live, but his voice kinda irritates me. But hey, anything better that James fr...

Re: Felipe Massa

I think some of you guys are being too hard on Felipe. But I guess it's understandable. in F1 you have to impress from the start, and I still can't forget some of the weird races and stupid mistakes he made in 2002. I mean he seemed to be fast that year also, but he was just all over the place with ...

Re: 2008 FORMULA 1 Hungarian Grand Prix

Well, it's nice to see Ferrari in front again, but I don't think we should read too much into it. McLaren is right there with them as I remember seeing some good sector times by Ham, but his car looked really twitchy and that kinda ruined it for him. So if they fix that, they are looking good indeed...
