Re: 2012 Formula One Discussion

Any driver who has ever walked away from an F1 car uninjured owes an enormous amount of gratitude to Professor Sid. My, how far this sport has come during hs tenure in the sport. RIP Sid, thanks for revolutionizing the safety of our sport.

Re: Young Driver Test 2012

Reading into times is pretty pointless, it's more important for the drivers to get the experience and teams to get the data. It's why I'm a little surprised more teams aren't testing I never know how much to read into new driver tests. So often, it appears that it's more rich drivers testing as opp...

Re: 2012-13 Silly Season

I don't think Pic has that much talent to be honest. I haven't seen him race in the lower series, I must say, but if he's any good, I think he should be able to challenge the Caterhams. Yes, the car isn't as fast, but an exceptional driver can make up that gap I would tend to agree. I see a lot in ...

Re: Formula One TV Coverage

Even though the network doesn't even give them the money to cover races outside of the studios in Charlotte, I think the SPEED Channel crew in the United States does a really great job. Steve Matchett is like an auto racing Gus Johnson, always enthusiastic. You can hear the passion for Formula One s...

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix

(...)Maldonado having no grid penalties(...) Still, plenty of chances to get one :O My predictions: 1. Alonso 2. Vettel 3. Hamilton That'll be the first time that they are on the podium together... Pretty incredible. I always get surprised with stuff like this. In sports like baseball, it seems lik...

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix

Like I said before Alonso is extremely good around here. I'd say it's his best track. If the Ferrari's good I expect him to win, even if it's not he should be on the podium. Massa's handy around here as well, he was dominating in 2008 after taking pole by half a second until the safety car and pits...

Re: 2012 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix

I think this is Fernando and Ferrari's race to lose here. And if he wins, then the title chase will steepen for the rest. With a favorable slate of tracks ahead, Fernando has a chance to begin to put this away.

Re: The future of Lewis Hamilton

I think he would be a fool to leave McLaren. At this point in his career, he needs to decide what he values more: being a champion, or making a few extra million dollars. McLaren ha been there for him his whole life, and while he shouldn't be pressured to stay, he needs to objectively assess the sit...

Re: Rate the 2012 Italian Grand Prix

1 - Best Driver: Sergio Perez 2 - Best Team: Ferrari 3 - Best Overtake: Perez on Kimi 4 - Best Moment: Checo's climb through the field and onto the podium 5 - Worst Driver: Just for the sake of a different answer, Jerome d'Ambrosio. It would have been great to see him step up to the plate in his ret...
