Thanks, hmmm not happy about Force India's field but I'm sure they'll be happy with whoever they pick all three have solid reputations.phil1993 wrote:Correct.
Force India is between Sutil, Alguersuari and Bianchi.
Caterham is between Kovalainen, Petrov, Senna and Van der Garde.

Re: 2012-13 Silly Season
So Force India and Caterham are the only two left right?
Senna, Kovalainen, Alguersuari, and Petrov are the top unsigned candidates correct?

Re: How has 2012 changed your opinions on drivers?
+Vettel Abu Dhabi, boy is a champion and deserves it no question. +Senna at a disadvantage for seat time with the team and still outperformed his teammate most weekends +Grosjean blisteringly fast, my money is on a spectacular '13 campaign +Kimi 3rd place first year back with what is considered a "m...

Re: 2012 Formula One Discussion
I love Romain Grosjean, I think he'll be surprise of the year next year. Just like to call out my support now so I don't get accused of band-wagoning.

Re: 2012-13 Silly Season
I'd love Kovalainen in a Lotus but I think Grosjean needs another shot at it, he can exceed Raikkonen on a given day, just needs the seat time. I'd prefer Kovalainen at Force India, good car and a consistent rising teammate to measure himself against. That leaves Kobayashi, Senna, and Petrov fightin...

Re: 2013 Formula One Discussion
Silly season is agonizing, hopes up for Senna, Kovalainen and Kobayashi, I think Senna has another year but Kovie and Koby are on the edge... Grosjean too but I think he's got another year at Lotus locked up, if not he'll land somewhere else and impress.

Re: 2012-13 Silly Season
If kobayashi doesnt get a seat it will be utter criminal. He is better than Perez personaly. I think he's on his way down, all the midfield teams have new talent they want to test out; Sauber, Williams, FI, TR. He might end up at the bottom three (hopefully replacing Petrov at Caterham for a chance...

Re: The future of Ferrari's #2?
Now that Perez is at Mclaren I would be pretty happy with Hulkenberg at Ferrari. I would prefer someone more surprising and with a higher profile like Heikki or Kobayashi but I'm happy with a change either way.
This would also pave the way for a Schumi Massa pairing at Sauber XD

Re: 2012 Formula One Discussion
Well that's all kinds of awful, combined with the ticket price I don't think a USGP will remain on the calendar for very long, upside is now we have a great modern road course in the US for other purposes (i.e. NASCAR, Sports Cars, MotoGP)

Re: The future of Lewis Hamilton
I think we'll be able to tell by this time next year if it's a success or not, Hamilton isn't very good at hiding his emotions, and as evidenced by his mood results aren't the only deciding factor in the future. Someone wondered if Mclaren are going to keep putting the effort into the rest of this s...

Re: The future of Lewis Hamilton
Nah you're all wrong, Mercedes is poised to challenge for championships, just not next year since there is no major rule change to shake up the status quo. This gives Lewis a gap year to settle into Mercedes, I wouldn't be surprised if he goes winless next year which will be good for his ego. I thin...

Re: 2012-13 Silly Season
If I was in Schumacher's shoes I'd write a check to Sauber with the memo: for several race wins They're fast this year and I don't think significant rule changes will happen so they should be fast next year too. Schumacher has also outperformed Rosberg in qualifying so he has the pace and the experi...

Re: Pastor Maldonado: Fast but erratic
Maldonado might have an erratic driving style but the races he didn't mess up on he was amazing and without those performances Williams would be where they were in 2011 if we look at Bruno Senna. Also formula one is a lot more exciting have a villain driver that most people hate. Speed is nothing w...
